Find answers to common questions about Sunny Jaze's solar and battery storage solutions to help you make an informed switch to sustainable energy.

  • If you can afford to pay your monthly electric bill then you can afford to go solar. The current solar program doesn’t require any out of pocket cost (for qualified homes) and there are no expensive loans to worry about.

  • If you average roughly $70 a month or more on your electric bill then switching to solar and battery power will still be worth it for you.

  • Yes, the backup battery will supply power to the home’s critical loads (lights, electronics, kitchen appliances, etc) during a blackout and in some cases, the back up batteries can supply power to the ENTIRE home during a blackout.

  • Each system is custom tailored to the needs of your home. The home’s usage is reviewed in order to properly size the system for your needs.

  • The whole goal of switching to solar and battery power is to ensure you never have to buy electricity from your utility company ever again. On some occasions, you may need to buy small amounts of power from the utility company but most often, those costs can be covered by the credits you accrue from selling your stored power back to the utility company.
